A Message from the Owner

My introduction to the world of wine was a bottle of Blue Nun shared with a beautiful blonde on a hot summer night in 1980. That’s a tough thing to admit as the owner of a fine wine store. Thankfully, my wine preferences have evolved since that first fateful sip. I’ve traveled to numerous wine regions, collected fine wines as a hobby and drunk my fair share of wine as well; and along this journey, one of the things I learned to appreciate was a really good wine store.

Farpointe Cellar is my interpretation of what a wine store should be. We have a great selection of wines, stemware, wine accessories, cigars and gourmet foods - all in a great shopping environment. But most importantly, we have a staff of true wine professionals who are passionate and excited about sharing the world of wine with you. We’ll help beginners expand their wine horizons with recommendations, information and advice. We’ll help the serious wine aficionado stock the cellar with rare and collectible gems. Whether you’re an expert or a novice, we’ll devote our full attention to making your wine experience a pleasurable one.

Hey, the world of wine can be intimidating, and all too often pretentious. But with our wine consultants as tour guides, traveling through that world can lead to many memorable experiences.
